Mr. Peck currently serves as Managing Partner of Lightfoot, Franklin & White. He started with the firm at its inception in 1990 and became a partner in 1993. One hundred percent of Mr. Peck's practice is devoted to litigation with an emphasis on environmental matters, toxic torts and product liability litigation. He regularly handles cases in Alabama state and federal courts, as well as other state and federal courts throughout the South. In addition to many cases in Alabama, he has taken cases to defense verdicts in Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas. Mr. Peck was one of the lead trial lawyers on an environmental contamination case involving thousands of individual plaintiffs that was the largest and longest-running trial in Alabama history. He is listed in the 2011 edition of Best Lawyers in America for Environmental Law, Personal Injury Litigation and Product Liability Litigation. Mr. Peck also has been listed in the 2010 Alabama Super Lawyers for his defense of product manufacturers in personal injury litigation.

Mr. Peck received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College in 1983, where he graduated magna cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He then received a Patrick Wilson Scholarship to attend Vanderbilt University Law School. While at Vanderbilt, he served as the Symposium Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review and received his degree in 1986.

Mr. Peck became a member of the Alabama Bar in 1986. He is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits and is admitted to practice before all United States District Courts in Alabama and Mississippi. He also is an active member of the Birmingham Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute.
