Meade joined Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC in 2005. She focuses her practice primarily in the areas of product liability, environmental torts, and general business litigation. Meade represents manufacturers in the automotive, aviation, and industrial equipment industries in cases throughout the Southeast. She is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee, as well as the Fifth, Sixth, and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal.
Meade graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University in 2001, with degrees in Economics, Business, and Spanish. Before earning her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2005, Meade served as Symposium Editor for the Mississippi Law Journal, was a member of the Moot Court Board, and represented Ole Miss in the ABA Appellate Advocacy Competition.
An active member of the Defense Research Institute, Meade currently serves on the Steering Committee for the DRI Young Lawyers Section as the Chair of the Expert Witness Database Subcommittee. She is also active in her local and state bar associations.
In addition to the practice of law, Meade is committed to the fight against childhood cancer and ardently supports the lifesaving research and treatment provided by St. Jude Children’s Research. She currently serves as the Executive Chair of the Birmingham chapter of the young professionals group Friends of St. Jude.
