Wes joined Lightfoot, Franklin & White in 2006 after serving as law clerk to Judge Ed Carnes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.  A significant portion of his practice focuses on business disputes on both the defense and plaintiff sides.  He is particularly interested in litigation involving banking, securities, and other finance-related issues.  Prior to law school, Wes worked on Wall Street as an equity research associate and investment banking analyst for firms in New York City and Nashville, Tennessee.

Wes graduated summa cum laude in 2005 from The University of Alabama School of Law where he served on the Managing Board of the Alabama Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.  He also holds an A.B. degree, cum laude, in economics from Harvard College.

Outside of work, Wes enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons and playing guitar.
