Elizabeth “Liz” Huntley joined Lightfoot, Franklin & White with ten years of legal practice in 2008. She practices in the areas of Busines Litigation, Personal Injury, Product Liability and Employment Law.
Liz has served as Law Clerk to both the Honorable U.W. Clemon, United States District Court Northern District of Alabama, and the Honorable John Bush, 19th Judicial Circuit, State of Alabama. Liz is a leader in both professional and community organizations including the Board of Trustees of the Farrah Law Society at the University of Alabama, Alabama Evidence Based Practices Task Force, Michael A. Figures Leadership Forum at the University of Alabama School of Law, Children’s First Foundation Board of Directors, Chilton County Children’s Policy Counsel (Vice President) and Project Gear (President and Co-Founder). Liz is also active in the Alabama State and Birmingham Bar Associations. She has also been the recipient of many honors and awards.
Liz earned her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she was an editor of the Law and Psychology Review, and her undergraduate degree from AuburnUniversity, where she was the Outstanding Female of the Year.
