Tenley's practice is purposefully varied, with clients ranging from a national trailer manufacturing company to drug manufacturers to issuers of life and property insurance. Her focus is on white collar matters, product liability, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and healthcare, consumer fraud and bad faith, and general business litigation. Tenley serves as regional counsel for product manufacturing clients, and has represented clients in arbitrations and trials in federal and state court in a variety of matters.
She has experience representing individuals and entities in criminal and regulatory investigations and prosecutions and has assisted individuals and entities accused of a variety of criminal violations including bank fraud, healthcare fraud, and anti-kickback violations during the pre-indictment investigation and through plea negotiations and/or trial and sentencing.
Tenley is admitted to the Alabama State Bar. She currently serves as the Annual Meeting Chair of the Women in Law Committee for DRI and is the President-Elect of the Young Lawyers Board of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.
Tenley earned her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law where she served as an Editor for the Alabama Law Review, a member of the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board and a member of the Criminal Procedure Moot Court Team. She also received her B.S. from the University of Alabama, majoring in Commerce and Business Administration.
Prior to joining the firm, Tenley worked in Washington, DC as Legislative Counsel in the U.S. Senate, Committee on the Judiciary, Subcommittee on Administrative Oversight and the Courts.
