Known for her calm demeanor, competitiveness and creativity, Brooke Malcom gets things done.
She defends clients in cases involving personal injury, products liability, as well as complex environmental and toxic tort matters. She has also handled a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, fraud claims, and insurance coverage and bad faith claims. She is known in the firm for focus and efficiency.
Brooke thrives when she is making her clients’ lives easier. She takes pride in her growing practice, which combines fierce advocacy with her love of finding common sense solutions to complex business problems. Her efforts were recognized by Super Lawyers, where she been named as a “Rising Star” in 2015 and 2016.
Brooke is an attorney who cares—about her clients and her community. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Birmingham Bar’s Volunteer Lawyers Program and is committed to improving access to legal services for Alabama’s low-income individuals.
Brooke graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia with a degree in Political Science, and she received her law degree, cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. She was a Copy Editor for the Cumberland Law Review, served as Associate Justice of the Henry Upson Sims Moot Court Board, and was a member of Cumberland’s National Moot Court Team.
Brooke is married to an attorney, Brian, and spends most of her free time trying to keep up (unsuccessfully) with her young children, Henry and Julia. She can be described as obsessive about Gilded Age mansions and musicals from the Golden Age of Hollywood. She is also a fan of college football, which can be difficult when you are a UGA grad living in Alabama.
