Intergraph Corp. v. Bentley Systems, Inc.
We were retained by Bentley Systems, Inc. in this commercial dispute from Madison County, Alabama, involving an asset purchase agreement where the trial court entered judgment against Bentley on its counterclaim for breach of contract. The Alabama Supreme Court reversed the judgment and remanded the case for a calculation of damages sustained by Bentley. After a retrial, the parties cross-appealed and we handled the second appeal, in which the Alabama Supreme Court ruled that Bentley was entitled to counterclaim damages in the amount it had sought.
