Lightfoot Partner Buddy Cox Speaks at 26th Annual Southeastern Environmental Law & Regulation Conference

Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC partner William S. Cox, III (Buddy) spoke June 16 at the 26th Annual Southeastern Environmental Law & Regulation Conference in Destin, Florida.

Cox was a member of a panel discussion titled “The Latest on EPA’s Clean Power Plan, the National Environmental Policy Act, the Toxic Substances Control Act, and the Waters of the U.S. Rule.”

Lightfoot sponsored the event, which brings together professionals across government, the private sector and the legal industry. Conference topics included compliance policies, regulatory updates and ethics issues in environmental law.

Cox is a member of the firm’s Environmental and Toxic Torts practice and has represented clients in matters across the United States for nearly 30 years. He also worked on behalf of the state of Alabama in a long-running dispute with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers over water resources.
