Elizabeth H. Huntley
Elizabeth "Liz" Huntley joined Lightfoot, Franklin & White with nearly ten years of litigation experience in 2008. She practices in the areas of Banking & Financial Services, Consumer Law, Business Litigation and Products Liability. A significant portion of her practice is devoted to Banking and Financial Services litigation. Liz regularly defends claims brought against lending institutions and mortgage servicing companies.
Liz has served as Law Clerk to both the Honorable U.W. Clemon, United States District Court Northern District of Alabama, and the Honorable John Bush, 19th Judicial Circuit, State of Alabama. Liz is a leader in both professional and community organizations. As a well-known child advocate in Alabama, Liz serves on several boards, including the Children’s First Foundation Board of Directors, Children’s Village Board of Directors and Project Gear (President and Co-Founder). In her commitment to the legal profession, Liz serves on DRI's Diversity for Success Seminar Committee and is active in the Alabama State and Birmingham Bar Associations. She has also been the recipient of many honors and awards.
Liz earned her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she was an editor of the Law and Psychology Review, and now serves on the law school's Board of Trustees for Farrah Law Society. Liz received her undergraduate degree from Auburn University, where she now serves on the University's Board of Trustees. Liz and her husband Tony are the proud parents of two daughters.
