On November 10, 2011, Lightfoot, along with FOX Sports, sponsored The Commissioners' Series featuring NCAA President, Dr. Mark. A. Emmert, at the University of Southern California Marshall Sports Business Institute. Dr. Emmert spoke to a crowd of approximately 200 about several different issues in collegiate athletics, including recent changes to NCAA rules and whether college athletes should be paid. Lightfoot Partners William King and William Brooks represented the firm at this event.
