Sam Franklin Elected President of ADLA

Birmingham, Alabama (November 2, 2002) -- Lightfoot, Franklin & White founding partner Samuel H. Franklin was formally installed as President of the Alabama Defense Lawyer's Association at the Association's annual meeting in Biloxi, Mississippi on November 2, 2002. The Association has membership of over 1,100 attorneys dedicated to the defense of civil actions and the promotion of fairness and integrity in the civil justice system. Mr. Franklin's term will expire in June 2004. An alumnus of the University of Alabama School of Law and Harvard Law School, Mr. Franklin has practiced law in Birmingham for over thirty years. He has been a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers since 1992.
