Lightfoot Partners with Magic Moments to Grant Wish for Alabama Child with Cancer

July 31, 2017

Firm raises $5,516 to send 4-year-old boy undergoing chemo for brain tumor to Disney World

A four-year-old Alabama boy with a life-altering illness is receiving his wish to visit Disney World thanks to Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC and Magic Moments. The firm partnered with the local wish-granting organization to raise money for the young boy who is undergoing chemotherapy for a brain tumor that has left him partially deaf.

Lightfoot employees raised $5,516 in a fund-raising campaign that included a firm-wide silent auction. The firm surprised the boy yesterday with the news he will be getting his “magic moment” wish.

“It was such a pleasure and honor to come together as a firm to support Levi,” said Lightfoot partner and Magic Moments board member Adam K. Peck. “Seeing the joy this brought him and his family was priceless.”

“The smiles at yesterday’s reveal event are what Magic Moments is all about,” said the organization’s executive director Sandy Naramore. “We’re grateful to work with partners like Lightfoot, Franklin & White who dedicate their time and resources to make dreams like this a reality for children dealing with very difficult health circumstances.”
