Managing Partner Melody Eagan Quoted in Birmingham Business Journal About Growth Strategies of City’s Law Firms

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (March 5, 2018) — Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC managing partner Melody Eagan recently discussed Lightfoot's Houston office with the Birmingham Business Journal. The article (subscription required) explored why several local law firms have expanded outside of the Birmingham area.

“Our decision to move outside of Birmingham and open our Houston office was in no way a reflection on Birmingham but, instead for us, was more of an expansion of our opportunities,” Eagan told the BBJ.

Lightfoot opened its Houston location after demand from existing clients in Texas who wanted the Alabama-based firm to have a local presence. After just a few months in operation, Lightfoot moved to a new, larger space in November 2017 to accommodate anticipated growth. In addition to partner Jerry L. Rios, who runs the Houston office, the location has since added of counsel Angela T. Bongat, partner Brian Cody Boyle and attorney Jason A. Rose.
