Kayla Williams Joins Tulane Sports Law Advisory Board

Tulane University Law School has invited Kayla R. Williams, Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC associate, to join its Sports Law Advisory Board. The board is made up of Tulane Law alumni working across the sports industry.

Board members mentor students, help connect them with internships and advise on the content and structure of the program's events. Their feedback has shaped several of the program's initiatives, including its Career Pathways program.

"Kayla has built her practice in sports law and NIL, never losing her connection to Tulane," said managing partner Wes Gilchrist. "She's exactly the kind of lawyer this board relies on, and we're proud to see her invited to serve."

Williams focuses her practice on sports law and collegiate name, image and likeness (NIL) matters, along with product liability, toxic tort and employment litigation. She earned her law degree from Tulane Law School, giving her a firsthand connection to the program she will now help guide.
