Lightfoot Announces 2026 Summer Clerks

Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC welcomes its 2026 class of summer clerks. This year’s group comprises 17 first- and second-year law students from six leading schools.

Lightfoot’s six-week, in-person summer associate program immerses students in all elements and phases of litigation at the firm’s Birmingham office. Summer clerks gain invaluable firsthand experience by participating in the real-world work of a Lightfoot trial lawyer, attending depositions, observing trials and contributing to meaningful assignments for top-tier clients. They also receive focused training and mentorship throughout the program, including sessions on the art of jury persuasion and mock argument presentations in a local courtroom.
