Lightfoot’s WOLF Hosts 10th Annual Women’s Event, ‘Earned Favorites’
July 27, 2026
The Women of Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC (WOLF) marked a milestone this year, hosting the firm’s 10th annual summer women’s networking event on July 14. Titled "Earned Favorites," the evening welcomed judges, executives, attorneys and community leaders from across Birmingham.
The program put six of the firm’s attorneys in the spotlight, each sharing a favorite thing she reaches for to get through challenges and the hard-won truth behind it:
- Rachel S. Bragg: Duress spray (putting your best foot forward with what you have)
- Haley A. Cox: Supertone workout class (keeping an identity beyond job and family titles)
- Melody H. Eagan: Apple Music gift card (finding more success playing together than as a soloist)
- Mary Parrish McCracken: gratitude journal (happiness begins with how you see your circumstances)
- Amie A. Vague: gardening gloves (staying grounded and getting outside yourself)
- Kayla R. Williams: candle (setting the temperature in the room rather than just reading it)
At the end of the evening, each attendee chose the earned favorite that spoke to her and took it home, a tangible reminder of something said in the room.
The term WOLF was coined when there were only a handful of female attorneys at Lightfoot, but they were empowered by a firm culture that promoted authenticity and allowed them to form a rare internal bond. Today, Lightfoot boasts a remarkable group of female lawyers and firm leaders. While each is outstanding in her own way, the group thrives on its collective strength, giving credence to its enduring name.
