Wes Gilchrist Named a 2026 Birmingham Business Journal Emerging Influencer

Lightfoot, Franklin & White managing partner Wes Gilchrist has been named a 2026 “Emerging Influencer” by the Birmingham Business Journal.

Gilchrist is one of 12 professionals recognized for making Birmingham a better place to live and work through leadership that transforms and strengthens the community. Honorees include individuals new to their roles, as well as seasoned professionals who have stepped into highly influential roles with local organizations. 

Lightfoot named Gilchrist managing partner at the start of 2026. In his litigation practice, he represents clients in complex commercial disputes, class actions and appellate matters, including before the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the Alabama Supreme Court. Gilchrist draws on his background in finance to advise investors, financial institutions and businesses in high-stakes litigation across a range of industries.
