He begins every matter by listening closely to what a client needs and then builds a plan to get them there. Whether that means conducting discovery, working through mediation, or, when necessary, advocating in court, Malik focuses on the path that best fits each client’s goals rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Before joining Lightfoot as an associate, Malik was a 1L and 2L summer associate, which gave him firsthand exposure to the firm’s clients and matters. Malik earned his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. At Cumberland, he competed on the ADR team and served as a Caruthers Fellow.
