Zeshan Mohiuddin litigates a wide range of commercial disputes.
Zeshan represents clients across a broad range of complex litigation matters, including product liability, construction, commercial, insurance defense, real estate and personal injury cases. He has experience handling claims in both state and federal courts, serving as a key contributor on litigation teams and as lead associate on high-stakes matters, where he develops case strategy, manages discovery and drafts and argues dispositive motions. He has contributed to litigation teams handling matters with significant exposure, including cases with potential damages exceeding $200 million. Some of Zeshan’s notable successes include:
- Securing a $300,000 settlement in a toxic tort case with alleged damages exceeding $20 million
- Successfully representing a subcontractor in construction litigation, negotiating a settlement of $10,000 against the plaintiff’s $250,000 demand
- Serving as second chair in a jury trial for a product liability case involving a ladder manufacturer, securing a favorable defense verdict against the plaintiff’s $1.2 million demand
Zeshan earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, where he earned the UHLC Dean’s Scholarship and was the Notes and Comments Editor for the Houston Law Review. He was a Shook Hardy & Bacon Diversity Scholar and participated in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition and John Black Moot Court Competition.
Maintaining an active pro bono practice, Zeshan handles cases through the Houston chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
In addition to his legal work, Zeshan teaches Sunday school and leads a monthly sermon at his local mosque. He is fluent in Urdu and proficient in Hindi. In his free time, Zeshan enjoys basketball, cliff diving and traveling.
