Founding Partner Warren Lightfoot Discusses Jury Tactics on Trial Tested

Lightfoot Franklin & White LLC founding partner Warren Lightfoot appeared as a guest on season 3, episode 4 of Trial Tested, a podcast by the American College of Trial Lawyers.

Lightfoot, who established himself as one of the country’s preeminent litigators, sat down with host Mike Herring to discuss strategies and techniques for winning over juries at trial. On the podcast, Lightfoot shared how his genteel personal style, down-to-earth Southern manners and methodical approach to planning words and actions helped make a positive impression on the jurors he argued before. His conversation with Herring also features entertaining and insightful discussions about life, law and legal strategy.

Lightfoot served as president and treasurer of the ACTL at various points throughout his storied career. He also held leadership roles with the Birmingham Bar Association, Alabama State Bar, and Planning & Program Committee for the 11th Circuit Judicial Conferences. After overseeing a successful litigation practice handling landmark cases and growing one of the nation's leading trial firms, Lightfoot continues to give back to Birmingham and pay it forward to other lawyers through various community and professional initiatives.
