Haley Cox Named a Finalist for 2026 Corporate Counsel Women, Influence and Power in Law Awards

Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC partner Haley A. Cox was named a finalist for the 2026 Corporate Counsel Women, Influence and Power in Law Awards in the talent management category. 

Published by American Lawyer Media, the award honors in-house and law firm women leaders and allies who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in law.

As Lightfoot’s hiring partner for many years, Cox has played a central role in shaping Lightfoot’s approach to recruiting, developing and retaining top litigation talent. She helped expand the summer associate program and launch Lightfoot’s pre-law initiative, the Lightfoot Academy, creating a structured pipeline for aspiring trial lawyers and early-career attorneys to gain meaningful, hands-on experience. 

Still at the center of Lightfoot’s recruiting efforts as a member of the recruiting committee, Cox continues to shape the firm’s long-term talent strategy, which emphasizes an environment where associates are given early responsibility, direct client exposure and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to high-stakes matters.
