Lightfoot Names Amie Vague Hiring Partner

Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC is pleased to announce that Amie A. Vague has been named as the firm’s hiring partner. In this role, Vague will lead the firm’s recruiting and hiring programs and oversee the professional development of new lawyers, directly shaping the future of the firm.
“Amie’s skills as a litigator, her deep understanding of Lightfoot’s culture and her enthusiasm for mentoring make her the ideal person for this role,” said Melody H. Eagan, managing partner of the Birmingham office. “She has been a key part of our hiring process for years, and we are confident she will continue to shape the next generation of Lightfoot attorneys.”
Vague is a versatile litigator with a diverse practice spanning trial and appellate work involving product liability, medical malpractice, professional liability, commercial litigation, employment law, white-collar criminal defense and corporate investigations. She represents clients in jurisdictions throughout the country.

Vague is an active participant in numerous professional organizations, including the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association (ADLA), the Alabama State Bar, the Tennessee State Bar, the Birmingham Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute (DRI). She has been recognized by Thomson Reuters’ Mid-South Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” for four years in a row, selected by the Birmingham Bar Association’s Future Leaders Forum and named to the Birmingham Business Journal’s 2023 Women to Watch list.
