Lightfoot Wins Large Company Category in Birmingham Business Journal’s 2024 Best Places to Work

Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC has come out on top of the large company category in the Birmingham Business Journal’s 2024 Best Places to Work. This is also the eighth consecutive year Lightfoot has made the list, which is compiled through an independent survey conducted by Quantum Workplace.

Lightfoot’s managing partner, Melody H. Eagan, emphasized the firm’s commitment to its supportive culture, stating, “We pride ourselves at Lightfoot on a work environment that nurtures success for everyone, regardless of position or role. Our recognition among these other great companies in Birmingham is such an honor, and the first-place designation brings our unique culture and each Lightfoot employee into the well-deserved spotlight.”

Each year, the Birmingham Business Journal recognizes the efforts of local businesses that demonstrate a strong commitment to corporate culture, communication, manager effectiveness, personal engagement and team dynamics. 

The process involved in the Best Places to Work program includes employee surveys carried out across the nominated companies. The data collected through these surveys not only help the companies to refine their policies and culture but also demonstrate the company's balance of a range of factors, including perks, leadership accessibility, work styles and compensation.

This year’s ranked companies were celebrated at an awards event on May 16.
