Rachel Lary and Haley Cox Present at Trial Network Conference

Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC partners Haley A. Cox and Rachel M. Lary presented at the Trial Network’s November conference in Laguna Beach, California.  

Cox’s presentation, “Beyond PowerPoint: Trial Graphics That Win,” covered the role of impactful visuals in a jury trial. She offered strategies to simplify complex information and boost credibility with jurors. 

Lary hosted “Admit and Defend: Trying Cases When Liability Is Off the Table,” as a breakout session. She shared tactics for defending cases where liability is strategically admitted to resolve disputes on more favorable terms. Lary also discussed jury selection, framing the defense and protecting a client’s bottom line. 

A seasoned trial lawyer, Cox tries cases and leads defense teams in a wide range of high-stakes cases, including claims of product defect, medical malpractice and serious personal injuries. She also oversees Lightfoot’s summer associate program and serves on the firm’s Executive Committee.

Lary is a national litigator and serves as trusted counsel to Fortune 500 companies and other leading clients. Her practice focuses on high-stakes product liability, medical malpractice, and commercial litigation.
