Lightfoot defending retailer in employment case.

Lightfoot obtained a defense verdict in a case brought against a nationwide retailer for violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). The plaintiff, a former employee, claimed that our client failed to provide reasonable accommodation under the ADA and retaliated against her. The jury returned a verdict in favor of our client after a five-day trial in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
