Biography

AI Researcher and Educator

Caroline Decker ensures Lightfoot’s attorneys and staff can efficiently and effectively integrate emerging technologies into their daily workflow. With a background in psychology, education and artificial intelligence (AI), she leads the firm’s training and implementation efforts for a variety of AI platforms, including Harvey, Lexis and Microsoft Copilot.

A former educator who has taught students of all ages and abilities, Caroline emphasizes adaptable, personalized instruction rather than one-size-fits-all training. Lightfoot attorneys and staff benefit from her practical teaching approach, which prioritizes immediate, relevant wins aligned with their specific roles and workflows. Her work helps our litigators streamline repetitive tasks and devote more time to case strategy and client service.

Prior to joining Lightfoot, Caroline worked at an AI startup focused on training and technology integration. While completing her undergraduate degree and launching her career, she researched and developed a curriculum focused on the intersection of engineering, AI and human learning.

Outside the office, Caroline enjoys hiking, traveling, experimenting with new recipes and researching emerging topics in technology and culture.
