Kaitlyn Faucett is a fierce litigator dedicated to her craft.
Kaitlyn represents clients across a broad spectrum of business and commercial litigation, including traditional breach of contract claims, breach of fiduciary duty matters, as well as partnership and shareholder disputes. Kaitlyn also regularly represents clients in product liability, healthcare, employment, and real estate matters. Her clients include major automakers, equipment manufacturers, equipment rental companies, multinational energy corporations, and leading technology companies. She is a dedicated advocate for her clients no matter the venue.
A diligent, hardworking, and collaborative attorney, Kaitlyn works closely with clients to develop a trial strategy that matches their goals. Since 2018, Kaitlyn has been consistently recognized as a “Rising Star'' by Thomson Reuters' Texas Super Lawyers. She is also a member of the firm's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and the Marketing & Business Development Committee.
Before joining Lightfoot, Kaitlyn honed her skills at a litigation boutique, where she managed a diverse caseload. She also has firsthand experience managing the various interests of the corporate entities she now represents, having previously served as in-house counsel for a boutique oil and gas company, and its subsidiaries. In that role, Kaitlyn regularly advised the company on issues concerning title rights, contracts, corporate governance, finance, as well as managing the company’s active litigation.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Kaitlyn graduated magna cum laude from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania, and went on to attend the University at Buffalo School of Law. Outside of the office, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, their daughter, Anna, son, Rory, and their Doberman Pinscher, Royal. During football season, you can find Kaitlyn cheering on her hometown Buffalo Bills.
