Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC is pleased to welcome William “Bill” Wos as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He will work closely with Executive Director Warren L. Nash to guide the firm’s financial operations, supporting its continued growth and long-term success.
Wos will oversee strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting. With more than 25 years of banking and financial services experience, he has built a career in strategy development, streamlining business processes and managing complex operations.
Previously, Wos served for 14 years as Director of Marketing at Harbert Management Corporation (HMC), a multi-strategy asset management firm based in Birmingham. There, he led sales management and support initiatives to drive fundraising efforts and improve business operations.
“Bill is a seasoned financial leader whose deep expertise and a collaborative approach align perfectly with Lightfoot’s culture and our vision for the future,” said Lightfoot Managing Partner Melody H. Eagan. “His ability to pair strategic insight with operational excellence will be a tremendous asset to our firm, and we are excited to add him to the team.”
Prior to HMC, Wos spent seven years at Regions Financial, serving as Vice President, Private Banking Sales Performance Manager. He has also held leadership roles in financial operations and project management, including general accounting.
“Lightfoot’s reputation for both its national civil defense litigation work and a culture that prioritizes collaboration, inclusion and excellence made joining the firm an easy decision,” said Wos. “I look forward to working alongside our lawyers and business professionals to strengthen our foundation, embrace new ideas and remain the firm of choice for clients”.
Wos holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Birmingham-Southern College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is also a graduate of the Alabama Banking School.
