November 23, 2022

Lightfoot Franklin & White LLC managing partner Melody Eagan appeared on the “Everything Except the Law” podcast as a guest on Nov. 17. During the episode, Eagan discussed the importance of culture in building a successful law firm. She also addressed the significant role law firm leaders play in creating a positive culture, and how Lightfoot’s founding partners set the tone for a firm where culture has been a focus for over 30 years.

“A positive culture in any organization gives it a competitive advantage. Leadership is key to that,” Eagan said. “Employees are going to be more engaged, and they’re going to be more loyal to the organization when they know that the firm cares about them and that they’re heard and valued.”

Later in the episode, Egan addressed the mistakes law firms must avoid when establishing their culture and the importance of a diverse team.
