November 5, 2025
The Birmingham Business Journal has named Lightfoot, Franklin & White LLC partner W. McKinley Dunn to its 2025 NextGen 50 honoree list, recognizing up-and-coming Birmingham-area professionals under 40 who are making an impact in their field. For 2025, the publication combined its industry-specific NextGen lists into a single, one-time “NextGen 50.”
“McKinley exemplifies what it means to be a Lightfoot lawyer—smart advocacy, steady judgment and a client-first mindset,” said Lightfoot’s managing partner Melody Eagan. “This recognition from the Birmingham Business Journal reflects the impact he is already making across our firm and the results he delivers for clients every day.”
Dunn’s practice spans the litigation spectrum, including breach of contract, fraud, personal injury, medical malpractice, real estate disputes, insurance bad faith and other commercial tort claims. He represents automotive and other manufacturers in cases involving product liability, with a particular focus on civil discovery.
