George uses his legal experience to serve clients in complex trial and appellate litigation.
George helps clients navigate tortuous legal matters across a variety of industries. During his time at Emory University School of Law, he was a teaching assistant and served as managing editor for the Emory Law Journal. He also served as a legal extern for Chief Judge Phyllis J. Hamilton of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and worked as a litigation extern for the Office of the Attorney General of Georgia.
Prior to joining Lightfoot, George was as a judicial law clerk for Carlton W. Reeves of U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.
George received his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Texas Southern University, and interned with both the Congressional Black Caucus and the Mississippi NAACP. Outside of the office, George enjoys hiking, biking and cheering for the Atlanta Braves. He is also a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
