Jordan Dailey enjoys solving a client’s toughest challenges.
Jordan is a commercial litigator, defending clients in a wide range of matters.
Prior to joining Lightfoot, Jordan practiced as a litigation associate for eight years at a full-service law firm in Georgia. She defended public and private employers against claims of discrimination and wage and hour violations, as well as in multi-plaintiff litigation. Jordan also represented school district clients in special education lawsuits brought under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Section 504 and the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as personal injury lawsuits involving sovereign and official immunity.
Jordan earned her J.D. from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in English from Auburn University. While in law school, she was a Donworth Moot Court Competition winner and awarded the Scholar of Merit in Complex Civil Litigation. She also clerked for two Alabama law firms and interned for the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights.
Before becoming an attorney, Jordan began her career in education, teaching science at a Birmingham high school and English as a Teach for America Corps Member at a high school in Atlanta.
Outside of the office, Jordan enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and their dog. She is involved in her local church and enjoys reading.
