Amie joined the firm in 2015 following a two-year clerkship in Memphis, Tennessee for the Honorable Camille R. McMullen. Over the past 10 years, Amie has lived everywhere from Nashville to Los Angeles, but she has always considered Alabama home.  She grew up in Jasper, Alabama, and following graduation from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Amie moved to California to attend Pepperdine University School of Law.  At Pepperdine, Amie discovered her passion for litigation after winning the Moriarity First-Year Moot Court Competition.  The following year, Amie joined the Interschool Moot Court Team and quickly became a valuable asset.  She led her team to championships in the Dalsimer and Chicago Bar Association Moot Court Competitions, received numerous individual oralist awards, and was selected to serve as Co-Chair of the team.  During her third year, Amie traveled to Hong Kong to represent Pepperdine at the Willem C. Vis (East) International Commercial Arbitration Competition, where she was awarded First Runner Up for Best Oralist out of nearly 400 participants.  Amie graduated from Pepperdine in 2013, cum laude, and was selected as a member of the Order of the Barristers due to her courtroom success.

During her clerkship in Memphis, Amie learned invaluable lessons about the trial and appellate processes and, perhaps more importantly, became an avid Memphis Grizzlies fan and season ticket holder.

In her spare time, Amie enjoys cycling, fly fishing, and spending time with her Great Dane, Jada.
